Description
This is course was developed while volunteering as an instructional designer at Designers for Learning a nonprofit 501c3 that provides lessons for Adult Basic Education programs. The aim of this project was to design a lesson that teaches learners a better understanding of professional interviewing skills. These skills provide learners with an opportunity to advance their careers.
The lesson was designed to offer instructors three methods of devilry e-learning, blended learning, and a tradition face-to-face class. The lesson is a fully responsive HTML5 design, which allows learners to access the course with computers or smartphones. Further, this project was built using open-source methodologies to allow for reuse and redistribution by anyone.

Chackras Smith successful completed a developmental evaluation as part of Designers for Learning's Instructional Evaluation service project to provide free instructional materials to support adults with low math and literacy skills. As part of this volunteer experience, Chackras evaluated and revised an open educational resource to support an important and underserved social need.
