Description
This is a gamification that I originally made in PowerPoint to prepare 10th grade students for an exam over the Byzantine Empire in World History classes.
The project was well received by the students in the classes and resulted in a 25% learning gain in the classes compared to the pop-quiz given the week prior. The students had a 96% passing rate on the unit exam, and the students average test score was an 88% on the exam.
Chad is a forward thinking teacher who brings enthusiasm to the classroom!
Chad’s use of technology in the classroom provided excitement for students in classes that can sometimes be dry. His ability to quickly learn new technical skills and incorporate them into his lessons is impressive.
